To find the best of this sculpture a visit to Eve Online Monument is required. The statue is no less than a futuristic model. It is equipped with three differently shaped spires, two made of stone flanking a shining metal center pillar. It has got the names engraved of the players to give tribute. The monument is a delight to the eyes because of its terrific shape. If you are an explorer of unusual buildings, then this is the best example. Eve Online Monument is a must visit to see the bizarre and extraordinary carving and to believe that such monument exists.

Eve Online Monument Reviews & Ratings
This is a monument that was created when computer game Eve Online had it's tenth anniversary. The developers of Eve Online are called Crowd Control Productions (CCP) with their head office located in Iceland close to the monument itself. The monument consists of some monoliths as well as laser etched plates that contain the names of all Eve Online players registered at the time of the tenth anniversary. The monument itself is in OK shape but the laser plates are showing wear and damage which is a real shame. However this site remains a place of pilgrimage for Eve players, many of whom will visit the monument during the annual Eve Online Fanfest held in Reykjavik. Designed by artist Sigurður Guðmundsson the monument was unveiled in May 2014 in front of a crowd of CCP employees and Eve Online players who were in Iceland for the annual Eve Online Fanfest event held in the nearby Harpa conference and exhibition centre. Eve Online is an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) which is best desribed as a space based social and geopolitical sandbox where players carve out their own story and history in the single shard galaxy called New Eden. Eve is famous for it's difficulty rating and massive space battles and holds the world record for the largest ever computer game battle involving 1000's of players simultaneously.
There are no details or a plaque near the monument that I could find, but apparently it's a time capsule as well as something to dedicate to the players of EVE. Cool little find in the city!
A wonderful sculpture Caught just by the harbour Bay. An amazing view of the water and the boats. If you come while the sun is setting a amazing view of the sky you can see as I have added in my photos. There are restaurants nearby and places to eat and drink. I can hear seagulls and wildlife in the background. This place is free from traffic and noise pollution. There is a nice even decking to walk along. There are many benches to sit and take in the view point. this will be a nice place for photographers, for families, for friends and Partners to come and see. I also appreciate a very decayed boat I can see on the right from the sculpture or the left depending which way you are facing. There is something incredibly beautiful about still water. I am visiting in July 2018. It is 10 p. M. And 10°c. Recommended +++++drink
A fitting tribute to CCP and all they've done
