Geysir, Reykjavik Reviews
Incredible nature! No human intervention. These hot springs ( several of them ) erupt every now and then, the biggest can shoot up to the height of a two storey building or more, we see it twice. You never know when this will happen, standing there in the freezing cold with your finger waiting on the phone camera can be challenge.
Hehe awesome! Sort of a "must see" in Iceland even though I enjoyed other things better. I suggest standing at the highest spot around the geyser so you can see it starting to bubble and know when to take a picture. Keep in mind that the amount of tourists packed in there is bigger than the resident count in New York.
This is one of Iceland's top natural landmarks. It's very popular with tourists and can be quite crowded. It's ok, however, since the main geysir erupts approximately every 5 minutes and this gets people to move. The views are impressive and witnessing such an outstanding natural show of power will definitely make your day and feel more in touch with our planet that is indeed full of life. This area is rich with different hot springs but keep your distance since the temperature is said to be over 8°C.
One of the coolest, and most beautiful, things I've ever seen in my life! The large geyser goes off every few minutes and ranges from small to huge explosions. It's so powerful and amazing to see! Make sure not to touch the water because you will be burned!
One of the most unique places in the world. Strong and powerful nature.
