Ramen Momo, Reykjavik Reviews
Enjoyed this place very much. We tried to go a couple times but it was too full inside (very tiny restaurant). Luckily the 2nd or 3rd time we found the bar empty. The food and experience were enjoyable, and the server very nice. If it is full when you go, there are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance.
A hidden treasure whether you have a taste for Japanese food or not. Everything that we ate was fresh and delicious. Eating area is small, however take away is available if it is not to your liking. Would definitely come back again!
Great ramen with perfectly spicy broth (if you request spiciness) and an Icelandic flair in the form of lamb taking the typical role of pork. It's a cozy fit inside, but any line will move fast. Vegan options available, even for the dumplings.
I think they forgot about our tea until I reminded them and they made a mistake on our order, but they fixed it and the food was very good. Not very much seating, so it was a little crowded when we first got there. I liked the retro music. The ramen broth was very good, not too rich. The kimchi and dumplings were good.
If this store is intending to serve Japanese style ramen, then sorry but I disagree with the high rating most people given here. The pork soup base tasted blant, noodles over cooked and soggy. Gyoza was almost tasteless and no real gyoza sauce. Seriously... if you have actually tried real Japanese ramen you know what I mean. Two stars given just for being polite.
