Reykjavik Domestic Animal Zoo is a petite park housing few farm animals, enough to get your kid excited! The zoo has domestic animals like: seals, geese, ducks, chickens, a rabbit, pigeons, a turkey, Icelandic horses, Reindeer and blue Artic fox.
It is best to visit the zoo during summers, as the windy winters of Iceland become difficult to walk around. Moreover during winters a number of animals are kept inside the barn and very little activities go around the park area.
One of the major attraction is the seal, the acts performed by them is simply amusing! If you are not an animal lover, the park is a tranquil place for a stroll, a picnic or to sip on a warm coffee and nibble on a cake at the cafe.
