This attraction is relatively minor compared to others in Reykjavik, but is worth checking out if you are especially interested in the cultural scene of the city and country. There is a permanent exhibition, with a lot of focus on the works of Eiríkur Smith. Its two exhibitions regularly rotate through temporary and special exhibitions. Most of the artwork is Icelandic, grown through donations and acquisitions. Bright and modern to look at, the center draws quite a dedicated crowd. There is also a restaurant and a museum shop here. If you contact the gallery you can organise a guided tour of the premises for yourself. Musical concerts with lunches are also organises here. Keep track of upcoming events on the museum website.
