  • A truly amazing experience to go deep down into the earth through the volcano. Be prepared to hike from the drop off to the site with warm clothing and good boots. Guides are truly friendly and knowledgeable. You will be safely geared up to go down. There's plenty of time to walk and explored the inside of the cave. You then will be greeted by delicious hot soup and drinks afterwards. Its a trip that's memorable

  • A truly amazing place to visit. Dress warmly for the hike to base camp, then prepare yourself for your journey 400 odd feet into the depths of a 4,500 year old volcano. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

  • It's a once in a lifetime experience to go inside a volcano and it'ss probably the only place in the world that you can do it. It's a good 3km hike to get there plus the weather can be harsh. It was raining heavy with strong winds during our trip. They do provide raincoats, but still be prepped. The guides are very well informed and were happy to answer all our questions.

  • The tour was amazing! The tour guide shared knowledge about these unique and incredible formations, as well as the history of Iceland that lead to this tour in the first place. Was near the best part of my trip!

  • A great experience. We took along our 10 year old niece and she loved it. Depending on time of year it is quite windy on the hike there but you'll get coffee and tee to warm up. Inside the volcano it is around 3° celsius and when you come back up you have a choice of traditional lamb soup or vegetarian. The guides take stops on the hike to give you more geological details. Highly recommended trip
