The sculptures of sixteen artists from various countries-Mexico, Switzerland, France, Finland, Japan, Germany and Iceland can be seen here. Most of these were created during various art festivals. Don’t go expecting mere creations of stone or wood or metal. These works are very edgy, and each has been set up in isolated locations to maximise its impact upon the viewer. It’s best to visit on a sunny day, as the park can look desolate when it’s cloudy. Also there is a family attraction nearby the Hafnarfjörður camping grounds. Additionally, they also have a soccer field and two tennis courts.
