Rhodes is famous for its glorious beaches and Agathi Beach is no different. This popular beach near Haraki Village is a tourist haunt and a place to drown all your worries in the sun the sand and the soothing sea.
The buff colored sand and the sea colored green beckon any tourist. The water is almost perfectly clean and you can see the bottom of the continental shelf as you look down. In many ways this place is the epitome of a pristine idyllic beach vacation spot. You can hire a sun bed, take a dip in the water or go for a pleasant boat ride around the area; the choice is entirely yours. You will also find excellent sea-food in the taverns nearby so don’t miss out on that either.
- Sun beds can be hired for 4 Euros.
- A decent Public Transport system exists on the island but the stations are not easily available online. You can buy a transport map on arrival.
- Chef Tommys Restaurant
- Calimera Porto Angeli

Love this place! Beautiful and calm.. Nice sandy beach is good for children. Toilets and showers are available. Three restaurants with fried things..
Top rated from our point of view. Very nice beach, not too big, with three taverns. The water is turquoise, very fine sand and sea side is suitable for children, because it is not too deep. On both sides of the beach there are rocks where is great for diving. This is where we saw some interesting fishes with nice colors.
Beautiful beach. Lovely sand, very safe swimming and three good tavernas. Toilets are a bit primitive, but the showers and beach huts are good. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost €10.
Best beach in Rhodes. This is my favourite beach to visit in Rhodes. The sand is beautifully golden and the water is shallow for quite a few meters, making it perfect for young swimmers to safely paddle about. There’s plenty of places to grab a drink or bite to eat. Must have your own transport to get to this beach.
Large sandy beach with lots of free parking. Rough road to get there but lots of sunbeds to rent plus 2 tavernas quite reasonably priced. Beautiful mountain views.
