The Old town Hall is the oldest town hall of Denmark. The hall was built in 1496. This town hall is now used for civil weddings. This town is situated in the old part of the town and it is quite close to the Cathedral. Apart from public weddings, a part of this town hall is also used as a museum. This wonderful museum will take you back to the time when the executioners with swords and torture instruments and the watchmen with a mace were part of the normal life in town. Apart from artefacts, there are many beautiful paintings in this museum. If you are interested to know the Danish history, this place is a must-visit for you.
