Willoughby State Forest is a state park located in Sutton, Westmore and Orleans. It sprawls across an area of over 7,000 acres. It has several cliffs, the tallest amongst them are Mount Hor (2648 feet) and Mount Pisgah (2751 feet) . The highest peak is the Bald Mountain at 3315 feet. The Lake Willoughby is the highlight of this place and the park is named after it. You can indulge in several activities here including hiking, primitive camping, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hunting and fishing. It has over 12 miles of trails to choose from and all of them are quite easy. Visit this place for a great hiking experience with amazing scenery.
