Konventa Seta, Riga Reviews
Very spacious and tidy room. Right in the middle of the old town. Impressive breakfast. Lots of people/turists walking by during the day but in the evening / night it was totally silent and calm (we stayed on the ground floor). Good service. Parking is charged extra. Possible improvements: The bathroom curtain could be changed.
A great hotel situated in the centre of the old town. Great location and the room I stayed in was a generous size. The breakfast was very good but the dining hall is small for the capacity so it can be to crowded for a seat. The staff are very professional and are a lot warmer than the average latvian in their welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Riga for a cultural city break. I can't wait to visit again.
I was in a budget room in the yard. Spartan but quiet...you have a key to the block and one to your room. TV was rubbish but nice bathroom. Could have been a self catering flat but wasn't as breakfast was in the main hotel. A decent armchair might have been nice but not essential. Good bed and good location.
Kind of a quirky place. When I arrived they told me they had given me an upgrade. It was a 2 bedroom apartment for one person! Very steep stairs next to bathroom. I was a little nervous that if I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom I could accidentally fall down the stairs. Uneven floors also presented big toe-stubbing risks. No possibility to close shutters to block out the morning light. Finally the breakfast was extremely crowded and not very good. Long lines for everything and they were out of orange juice for at least 20 minutes. Nice location though and not expensive.
A good and spacious place. Great price and a very well location. Too bad there's not enough light.
