Riga Motor Museum - Review
True to its type of specialty museum, the Riga Motor Museum displays over a 100 different cars. Cars from both sides of the globe are featured in this unique museum. A must visit for anyone with even a semblance of knowledge about cars should call upon the Riga Motor Museum. Considered to be the best museum that houses historic cars in all of the Balkans, some of the popular car exhibits include Stalin’s limousine and Rolls Royce.

Riga Motor Museum, Riga Reviews
Great place if you like cars! Some very unique and rare cars there! There are also some motorbikes and bicycles. Museum is not that big, but worth a visit! Very nice staff can tell you interesting facts and stories. All the cars in museum except for 2 are in full working order! Tickets are not expensive (you can check prices in their web site). Nice little gift shop upon exit. There is also a racing circuit next to the museum.
Spent an hour at the museum. Some interesting exhibits. Car enthusiasts would probably be able to spend more time. For me the hour was sufficient. Finding the bus stop for bus 5 in the centre of Riga was a bit of a challenge. Would have been easier to get it from central station. About a 30 min bus ride.
Brilliant museum - beautiful, educational, entertaining. Exposition was on three floors, divided by time period. It was really interesting for grown ups while a two-year-old loved it to bits and kept on commenting on how many, many, many cars there were. :D Wish we could've had a bit more time, as a bit over an hour of toddler's patience was not nearly enough for us, if we'd wanted to properly read all the available information. A locker room available for coats and bags, as well as a souvenir shop (mostly t-shirts and model cars). A small children's area is located outside the exhibition, as well as a restaurant. Overall, although a bit pricey (10e/ person on April 2018; the toddler went for free), this museum is definitely worth visiting and revisiting.
A 30min bus ride out of the centre of Riga, but well worth the trip. 3 floors of a range of vehicles and a good display of the introduction to the history of the automobile. There are a few interactive models to play with and a decent coffee shop. A must visit if in Riga and you're a petrolhead.
We visited when in Riga in February, although a fair way out of town on a bus ride it was well worth the visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits, this starts with the origins of motoring with displays of cars from the beginning right up to the cars of the Soviet era. the museum also has a large display of motorbikes from Europe again some early ones from the 30's 40s and 50's as well as telephones and bicycles. I really enjoyed the museum and would go again if ever back in Riga
