Piazza Cavour became the center of the city’s commercial and political life in the early middle ages and remains hugely important in the city’s social, political and commercial life. Dominated by the Pigna fountain, the square is surrounded a number of architecturally gorgeous buildings and the outstanding statue of statue of Pope Paul V. A number of interesting restaurants are located in the vicinity. Visiting the square is like going back in time and tasting a slice of history.

  • I had always imagined Rimini to be a typical crowded seaside resort with nothing else to offer and I went there merely to use it as a base to visit the Republic of San Marino and nearby towns; I could not have been more mistaken! Piazza Cavour is just one of the many beautiful sights the city has to offer, many of which date back to the Roman times.

  • Wonderfull place in great city to walk around

  • Beautiful Italian Piazza with plenty of cafe's and restaurants to enjoy thet atmosphere in. Always seems to be something going on in the Piazza too.

  • Amazing experience for the eyes and soul, simply beautiful.

  • The place is wonderful and if you need water , you can drink from the center.
