Pedra Da Gavea - Review
This monolith in Rio de Janeiro is a very popular tourist attraction in the city. The rock is famous for being shaped in the form of a human face. There is however some amount of speculation concerning the origin of the carvings. Contrary to local stories and myths, geologists have claimed that there are no proofs regarding the human origins of the carvings and have attributed them to natural sources.
The monolith is the largest in the world that is located on a coastline and it serves as a great marker for ships. One of the main points of interest about the rock is an inscription in an ancient Semitic language that has been found on the face of the rock. People should keep in mind that it is a difficult hike and should be undertaken with supervision from a professional.

Pedra Da Gavea, Rio De Janeiro Reviews
Just go and if you are brave do the double flight of hang glider or paragliding is a must experience in your life i guarantee you wint forget it
BE SURE TO WEAR NON-SLIPPERY FOOTWEAR. Tough path, and couple times scary if you're not a rock climber amateur but the views on the top are magnificent.
A bit tough (but through a very beautiful path) to reach the peak, but once you get there your eyes will be rewarded with one of Rio's best view.
Amazing view but that house. Wow that's 10 times better than the view
Very good hike not impossible but you have to have somewhat a active life. Hike is about 2 hours before you get to big stone. You'll need equipment to get to the top. Great experience I would suggest if you're healthy and fit you definitely have to do this.
