One of the five beautiful villages of Cinque-Terre, Riomaggiore is a commune in the Province of La Spezia in the Liguria region, Italy. A wonderful piece of land that inspired the paintings of TelemacoSignorini, Riomaggiore spreads over a small area of 10 square kilometres and has a population of around 1600 people.

This thirteenth century village is acknowledged for its cultural grandeur and delicious wines, produced in the town. The shore of the town has an exquisite wharf created by the high-houses.

It is the southernmost town of the five Cinque-Terre towns and connected with them by a trail. So, if you want to experience some laid-back time with a lot of trekking adventures, head towards this quaint one-street town.
