The Ram Jhula Bridge, Rishikesh Reviews

  • One of historic and beautiful place in Rishikesh. You can feel the peace and inner joy here specially at night. When you walk on the Jhula and swings up and down you feel like it's an adventure. While crossing the Jhula, you can see the Holy river Ganga and mountains and whole city.

  • This is a bridge named after the god Ram, the bridge is made up of concrete, strong cable wires and many other reinforcements. Locals usually use this to cross the Ganga river. You can ride a 2-wheeler across or can just walk across. The Ram Jhula has stayed strong from years back in days from construction and will stay as this for years to come. You also have ghats on both sides and market area (market with hefty prices) on both the sides.

  • Best place if you want to travel and visit places with your whole family members. If you are a young blood then you can enjoy rafting in ganga river which is most adventures activity, the another activity is bungee jumping. For bungee jumping you have to register yourself in advance of minimum 7 to 8 days of your visit. Tracking is also a good option. For rafting the cost is variable according to the distance which you choose fir rafting. The details you can find on google.

  • Nice place for a nice evening walk... You can cross the river via small boats or choose to walk through the Ram Jhula bridge... If you are on two wheeler, you can ride through the bridge... Enjoy the Beautiful view of river Ganga from the bridge. Be careful of Monkeys around while walking through the bridge.

  • Ram Jhula A perfect and Balanced Example of Engineering. A bridge with stands with the support of rope wires. My Last visit of This Jhula was of My Bike Trip to Hrishikesh. I crossed it on my bike. But You can only feel it's excitement when you cross it with you steps.
