Boasting of a colossal range of water rides (as many as 36), Rapids Water Park is the most sought entertainment center in Florida. The 25-acre park includes a wave pool, speed slides, water slides and a lazy river too! While some of the rides are most thrilling for adults, special slides have been made for toddlers and small children to give them the excitement that they need. What began in 1979 as a 4 water slide, 4-acre park, has since then grown to a large collection of fun filled exciting rides!

Rapids Water Park Reviews & Ratings
Great water park! But there are some issues we could look over because we had a great time! We understand rain polices because we are a water sport business and in management in a local theme park. Some employees we could tell loved there jobs and that made it fun for us! There is plenty of water slides for all ages and all ages will enjoy it. Plenty of seating around the wave pool and sections of the lazy river. BEST LAZY RIVER IN FLORIDA as far as we could tell. This park can be crowded during the summer season so come with patients and expect to wait in lines at some water slides. Food prices are OK. Parking fees are a little high. We believe that NON water employees could dress a little more presentable most looked very sloppy. Locker fees are fairly priced and perfectly located near all major attractions. We look forward to our next visit and have a little better knowledge for the next visit. This water park is conveniently located near other restaurants, shops and hotels. We highly recommend this water park when visiting the area.
We love the Rapids so much that we have season passes! It's fun for adults and kids of all ages. It's very clean. And with plenty of lifeguards who really pay attention, the Rapids does an excellent job of keeping guests safe. I really hope they keep Old Yeller, at least for a few more years - those were the first (and only) slides back in the 80s. I enjoyed them as a kid, and now I am enjoying them with my daughter.
Amazing options for the whole family! Body boarding for the first time in my life was epic. The staff was so patient and friendly. Kept us safe in a storm as well. Cabanas were convenient and well attended. Will return soon!
So disappointed! My ten year old has been waiting all summer to come to rapids. The weather was great, so we decided to drive the hour and have some fun. After we arrived we got our locker for our belongings and proceeded to wait in line for a water slide. After waiting in line for 45-50 minutes and getting close to our turn, they told us there was lightning in the area and all rides were closed. It was sunny but quickly turned cloudy. Since we had been at the park for an hour and still not being able to really do much if anything we decided we would leave with a rain check. We were told that we could not receive money back or a rain check even though all of the attractions were closed unless we either waited two consecutive hours standing around or they closed the attractions three times. Now, I understand that policies are policies, but this is a bit crazy. Between admission, parking and locker fees we spent a total of over $160, stood in a line for an hour and we were not allowed/did not get a chance to ride on slide or go in the wave pool. This is crazy! Save your money! Rave over lol!
My family and I totally enjoyed our day there. Reasonably priced and tons of attractions to keep you occupied for the day no matter your age. My 4-year reminds me every day that she wants to go back 😁
