Roanoke Rapids Lake Day Use Area Reviews & Ratings
I love taking my grandchildren here! Nice beach area, huge playground, nice picnic tables overlooking the lake. Well maintained park!
Place is GORGEOUS. Quiet but not exactly secluded. Great place to bring family
Went there to see the trails. Posted no pets but website did not mention. Expected water views-disappointed on the canal trail. Trails themselves were level, easy, and through some nice shaded wooded areas. Over 6 miles available.
Nice peaceful park with a play ground, fishing, trails, picnic tables and grills. The only negative thing is that in the fall and winter it opens at 11am. I wish it opened earlier.
Great place!! Little difficult for people who need assistance walking. The lake swimming area is kinda far from the playground and party area but overall a nice place for a party.
