  • I have been with the club for over 10 years now and love it! We have travelled all over Australia in Club Properties and have used our points with the sister company Interval International in America and Canada as well as using our points for Cruises in Alaska and Hawaii. As long as you use your booking windows and have a little bit of flexibility you should be able to get your preferred accommodation. Great for families and couples.

  • It's really odd that there are either 1 star or 5 star reviews, no middle ground. I have found avc to be a rip off. There is no resale value or option to exit if you want to cut your losses. Booking is always difficult. I could get the same value as the yearly membership fee if I were to just spend it directly on a hotel room. With multitudes of more flexability. I have a founding membership, anyone looking to purchase should beware.

  • I was invited for a 2 night stay at a hotel to attend an Accor preview and have an opportunity to sign up! this is my second time, everything sounded lovely upto the point where we had questions we wanted to ask. Things like ... are we able to take time to speak to our accountant to ensure this will not impact our finance? trying to be sensible about adding an extra financial commitment to our lives, the young boy speaking to us was lovely until he got the man who was running the Accor event to speak to us at the end, he was lovely at first.. same as the first time we came to a preview .. until decision time !!!! literally he flicked a peice of paper down at the desk with a red "FINAL something" stamped on it, he said he will half the price of the upfront cost and we pay that now so you can talk to your accountant and refund it back if we decide no. And we politely said no ,we want to sit down and properly look at our finance as we would love to join but don't want to do it until we know we are doing the right thing... then he said you can go ring him now and then come back today with your decision. We said we want to go and speak to him at the office ... to then be told THIS IS YOUR FINAL AND LAST CHANCE and he showed us the red stamp! instantly my husband and I looked at each other and said No and signed it... during this he also mentioned " I don't want to waste your time and I don't want you wasting my time" I was absolutely apaulled!!!! Also being told " you will not be offered discounted stays here again for an Accor preview" making us feel like all we were doing was coming for a cheap stay !!!!!!! Absolutely appalling !!! We spoke to our accountant later that day curious to see and everything was perfect for us to go ahead! travel is on our bucket list as we explained this to the young man who looked after us !!! But it's amazing how the pressure and way we felt degraded was just enough for us to make a decision to not join this, and after reading the reviews I'm glad I followed my gut instinct, the man was lovely right up to the point of the final decision.. Just to add to my review it ended basically being told this was our final chance. I did ask, "if we decided to join after we spoke to our accountant or down the track if the time now wasn't right were we able to ?" we were told " NO" this is your final chance!!!! What service is that? If Accor is so pushy to make you sign up there and then to commit to their membership and not care about their future members I don't want to be part of that! makes me question what it's like with the membership.

  • What service?? just signed up with Accor and have to say that the service levels are pretty poor...tried to contact CEO for assistance as he promised and received a call from a call centre representative that was helpful. however the booking we were promised has yet to be confirmed via email and more than 4 days have passed....really strange that it takes this long.

  • Great holiday savings. Worth every cent. Great appartments. Awesome deals. Makes you feel special. We all want to feel special. Go on just do it!
