Gold Strike Casino Resort, Robinsonville Reviews - Write a Review

  • Nice Casino. Very nice rooms. Pool is nice. They need to work on their tour group check in. I have been there several times with a group and it always takes over a half hour to process our check in even though the tour director gives them at least an hours notice. Breakfast buffet good but the dinner buffet could be better

  • I was here with my girlfriend for a Styx concert. It was a great venue, no bad seat in the entire theater. However, the lighting team needs to get their act together as we were constantly blinded by lights facing the audience during the show. As for the casino itself, my girlfriend felt it was better than some of the Vegas casinos, and I tend to feel it was nice but not that nice. The casino smelled like smokers were there, but was not smoky. A lot of tables and games to play, but nothing wowed me enough to drop money to play. We also ate and Pickle and Jam in the casino. It was alright, but kind of expensive for what you get. All in all, a standard casino with a good staff. I wouldn't say it's bad, but didn't go to the other casinos on the strip to be able to compare them.

  • Tried the seafood buffet. Good food , above average desserts for a buffet. Friendly staff but mostly hands off. Not as much seafood as I expected or would have wanted but over all worth the money if you have the appetite. Free wine and beer but I didn't have any. Best advice get there early and avoid the long line. Also enter through the far left side door to avoid the gambling floor completely.

  • Went in when they opened for lunch service. The selection of food was alright (no complaints there) but the quality of a-lot of the food left something to be desired. The potoates for example were instant but had the taste of cardboard. Pepsi was totally flat. Truly not worth the outrageous price..try the Fitz its much better for less money. The pizza was good, salad bar decently stocked, nice desert bar.

  • So let's start off with the good... My first stay here was amazing great room great service great everything. This trip we get here to celebrate my husband's birthday and get lied to about free play for birthday... go to check in ask for a room with a river view get out into a room with a view of roof. Also there was hair all over the bed, we called down to front desk and was asked to come down so they could change our room. We get put into a room that is cleaner but this bed is the worst thing I habe ever slept on. Not happy with this stay
