LOVED Rockaway Beach. Could have stayed there forever. You got the beautiful beach, that was so soothing to my soul. And the hills in view, on each side. The cute little charming town, to go with it. Things to do. But, that beach, though... Wow. Definitely going back!!😁
Great place to visit, unplanned stop by riding the train... Fun place for kids. Icecream shop across the street... Not too busy not too crowded... It is a wide compare to Lincoln or seaside I guess, a little more walking to catch the 🌊
RB is great for any age... There's just enough to do so there's more than JUST the beach. Great food *we recommend OFFSHORE BAR & GRILL, OWNED BT JAKE AND MICHELLE BURDEN). We lived here for 1 year and wish to go back every day.
By far my favorite spot on the Oregon Coast. Barview Jetty is an extraordinary place to visit year round. A beautiful place to watch the sea as it comes to shore on an expanse of beach that almost feels secret.
The beach is so close to the hiway. Find a parking place and walk 2 blocks and there you are. The air was warm the day I was there. September and October often have good weather on the coast.
