Araluen Botanic Park is a delightful oasis of greenery located in Roleystone. It is situated in the Darling Ranges and covers an area of 59 hectares. It is home to international species like Camellias, tea roses and the ever popular tulips and also has a plethora of native plants including Eucalyptus, Marri and Blackbutt. Regular events are organized by Araluen including the Tulip Festival in Spring and the Fremantle Chilli Festival in Summer. The former swimming pool is converted into a lake and adds to the appeal of this place. Don’t forget to get your camera when you visit this place as it offers several photographic opportunities.
