I stayed here the first week of June. Pretty far from Rome (i.e. 30 minutes to the Colosseum by taxi costs around 25 euros). Nothing to do in the neighborhood. Looks pretty sleek and modern, but like lots of the reviewed mentioned, there are scuff makes and areas that need remodeling all over. I enjoyed the (free) breakfast buffet. But the bar gets super crowded being right off the lobby, and the service and food tends to suffer. Worth the money though. Got what I paid for. Very courteous and pleasant service when dealing with any hotel employees.
The service from the staff is fantastic. Very accommodating and quick to respond. We were able to book a couple of last minute tours through the hotel. The Wi-Fi was very good, better than most we had encountered in Italy. The main lobby is nice and we had free parking, a rarity in Rome. They also offer a shuttle into the center. The room was a little tight but nice and clean. The hallway could use a coat of paint and some sprucing up. Would definitely stay there again.
Very nice rooms. very good staff. Good breakfast.parking Ok. ..a little difficult go by bus to the centre and back from this place but its not a problem of the hotel. 😉...like this place and hope come back again
It seemed very modern in the pictures and it was, but our room was not very clean. There were markings all over the walls and what looked like mold or mildew around the tub. The lobby was bright but the hallways and room were way too dark (maybe on purpose). The bed was large and comfortable, but the blankets and sheets seemed too small and the pillows were not comfortable at all. Not pleased with our stay so far.
The room and hotel itself are clean, but grubby and in need of some TLC. Some of the staff are brilliant, but others are just rude and discourteous. Desirée the waitress/bar maid was extremely pleasant and hospitable is the reason for the second star, none of the other staff in the restaurant/bar seemed to want to extend even a smile if you weren't Italian. On the first night we went to the restaurant for food, and despite there being people in the restaurant we were told it was closed and we had to go eat in the foyer. Second night we went to the foyer and were then told we had to go to the restaurant. The food was adequate quality. Breakfast was room temperature/not hot and choice was limited. The hotel propped all fire doors open etc for temperature control, but of course a lot of these backed onto fields so anyone could walk in, and other guests stacked dirty plates by them presumably from room service. The cleaners didn't collect these for 2 days. The bathroom was crammed to say the least, a sink, a shower (poor excuse of a shower), a toilet and a bidet meant the door wouldn't open fully so you had to squeeze in and out. The door was also damaged from hitting the bidet and the extractor fan didn't work, and there was no other window in the room. There is a shuttle bus into Rome, which is 2euros per person and you sometimes got a receipt, but it's only an 8 man shuttle so at busy times you could be out of luck. All in all, stay here and buy the Rome Pass and use the 881 bus from out front to get in and out of Rome as you have more control over times, or go stay at a better hotel as without investment in all areas I wouldn't recommend staying here at all.
