Heritage Park in Rome is a public space majorly used for sporting activities. Stellar Willow trees and gazebos make this park worth a visit. The park also hosts youth baseball stadiums and serves as an entrance for the Downtown heritage trail system. Nestled right on the river bank, the park also provides opportunities for fishing and picnicking. Take a stroll on the riverside, feed animals, go biking or simply watch the stunning views the park offers to best enjoy your visit here.
Heritage Park Reviews & Ratings
While the park does not offer much in the way for younger children like my toddlers (one small playground), there is a lot of open space, ballparks, a pavilion and picnic shelter, bathrooms, a beautiful view, friendly people, and history. The bridge is definitely worth the trip alone, to see all the love locks and momento mori locks for lovers past and present, as well as commemorating lost loved ones. The park offers baseball and soccer fields, boat docks and fishing. Conveniently located within walking distance of Broad Street's many restaurants and shops.
It's absolutely beautiful!
"Family Fun in the Park" was not fun at all. Most of food sold overpriced and not too good.
Fantastic boat ride on Roman Holiday
It is a nice park but I like Ridgeferry Park better.
