  • Amazing old fashioned cheese and wine shop. Huge selektion, and very friendly staff.

  • Was looking authentic cheese shop in Trastevere in last day our trip in Rome. Luckily I came across this wonderful Antica Caciara just next to our apartment. Bought two types of cheeses and salami. Women at the shop was extremely polite and smiling. Helpful finding the best cheeses and salamis to our tastes. She spoke english enough to serve our needs. Look no further. Just ask bravely and you'll surely find what you like.

  • Simply the Best! This is without doubt the best cheese shop anywhere - not just in Rome! The cheese, ham, sausage - well everything in the shop are awesome - can't be beaten, AND what really elevates this place to the superior level is the service and warmth that greets you from the second you enter. Every time we are in Rome, we go there, we have even driven down from Tuscany and flown up from Brindisi with the sole purpose of visiting the shop and stock up with parmesan and more before returning to Denmark. Roberto is a remarkabel person. Always entusiasttic, smiling and determent to give you the best possible service. When we enter we are greeted as old friends - even if everybody is, we do think he remembers us. Regardless, you always leave the shop feeling happy that such a person and shop still exists in this day and age. May they both live forever!

  • Isn't it great when you find a place that combines top food and genuine hospitality?! Roberto and Anna always have a smile for Romans and the many foreigners who stop by to stock up on their excellent cheeses, salami and prosciutto. Wine is not bad either! Dont miss it when you are in Rome.

  • Really nice familial shop with tons of local or national products. Helpful and welcoming. A great place to buy Italian food.
