  • Very convenient train station, strategically located to serve Port Civitavecchia. If you're taking a cruise, this would be your best way to travel from Rome to your cruise line ship at port Civitavecchia and vice verse. The only thing I didn't like was at the time I reserved by train tickets, I purchased first class tickets. But we end up on a train that didn't have the first class cabins. And the administration didn't bother to mention it or even offer us the difference in price.

  • It’s ok Pretty Well situated... easy to reach... easy to visit the City, the port, the food offers and restaurants, Good train schedule The station itself has a store with almost everything, a Good serviced coffee bar and aditional services

  • in no case buy the expressticket for 20 euros. old train and too expensive

  • For cruise ship folks going to Rome. Don't take the Cruise ship bus into Rome, they are over priced. However do the cruise bus option if you don't have much time in Rome. When you get off the ship there are many buses that will take you out of the port past the gate, once past the port gate they will drop you off at a bus stop, walk across the stop and you will see shuttle bus that will take you to the Civitavecchia Train Station for about $5 euro, from there you can get a fast train into Rome. Once in Rome you will need to know how to get around, we took a taxi.

  • No elevators and no help with luggage If I had known I wiuld have chosen other means of transportation. Impossible to negotiate stairs with heavy luggage unless you are fit and young.
