Hosteria Romana Reviews & Ratings

  • My wife and I loved this restaurant. They accommodated us even though we didn't have a reservation. Got there just before the lunch rush. Our waiter was fantastic! He was very attentive and funny, made us feel very wanted. The food was amazing! Great selection as well. Fantastic pasta and chicken. We will definitely be back next time we are in Rome.

  • Interesting walls of patron graffiti sets the stage for a friendly meal with a wait staff ready to please with jokes and maybe even a bit extra food sampling on quieter weekdays. The choices we picked pleased all of us as we swapped plates of pasta, cheese, and veal. The veal saltimbocca was so tender and juicy. Definitely worth a visit for the food and friendly service (and we speak only English, yet were treated like close family - so welcoming!).

  • Great traditional food! This is a place for locals, no tourist prices. The waiters were entertaining and cracked some very roman jokes when they brought out our meals. Only downside is that it is quite a popular spot, so on weekends you might have to wait for a table even if you booked beforehand. I reccomend this place for casual nights with friends and if you want the true roman experience.

  • Highly recommend this place for excellent food. Reasonable priced and friendly staff. If we would have stayed longer we would have been back every night

  • Amazing restaurant. Delicious and great service. We actually ate here 4 nights in a row! The fried artichoke and bucatini is so good. And their gnocchi is to die for. Luigi and the rest of the staff are so nice.
