Great staff. Rooms are a bit small but very clean. Fresh towels each day. Very nice breakfast with a variety of savoury and sweet foods. I would recommend hotel Italia to anyone.
Nice and clean hotel with affordable price. Good value for its money, however the room was quite tiny (bathroom too), dark and considerably less fancy than you would expect from the photos. We stayed in the older part of the hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff is very friendly. The best thing about this hotel is its convenient location. You will have to pay the city tax in cash when you check out.
This is a simple nice little hotel that is walking distance to many sites and Metro stops. The bed was a little hard but the room I had was big with a big private bathroom. The service at the front desk was very helpful and informative. I stayed during early March of 2009 so there was no need for AC. Nice simple free breakfast. They do have a bookshelf of the most popular tour books, probably from people that left them behind after check out, so if you want to look up something they are there for your use.
Very small hotel, but has everything you may need. Staff was very helpful whenever we needed them. Great location, with lots of restaurants nearby and a large avenue just around the corner
Please avoid staying here. Expensive prices for rude service and bad rooms. We were also lured by all the good reviews. We requested a quiet room months in advance and were placed in the room right next to reception and the dining area. We requested the quiet room as we weren’t landing and getting to the hotel until 2:30am. Because of the location of our room we were woken at 7am when people came for breakfast. When we asked to me moved the rude man behind the desk told us we’d be upgraded and should be thankful? Decided to wake up and start the day we went to have a shower and there was no hot water or electricity for hours! We had to have cold showers and get ready in the dark as there is little natural light in the room. We had a really terrible experience here and paid over £220 for the above experience. I do not recommend staying here when visiting Rome.
