Truly underrated restaurant worthy of Michelin 2 stars: its classy ambiance, friendly but knowledgeable and professional staff, superb service and well executed dishes with local ingredients. We dined at other Michelin rated Rome restaurants and this experience far surpassed the others in every aspect. Every member of this restaurant has pride (not to be confused with arrogance) in presenting their best (service, cuisine, ingredients) to customers like us and we surely appreciate it. A true hidden gem! Bravo Erik!
Excellent place. Serving was perfect. Food was great .I think it worth 2 Michelin star.
Fabulous food. Two blocks from the Coliseum. You must get reservations the day before! It is wonderful. Locals mostly and there is great reason
It is art.... great service and marvellous food. I’m loving it 👍🏻
What a special treat! We were fortunate enough to come across this magnificent experience on a bit of a whim. Trying the tasting menu, we were led to an interactive dinner of various stimulation’s of the eyes, nose, mouth and hands (as one course had us coat our hands in oil for the dish). Luca and Erik took fantastic care of us with superb wine selections and a front of the house attentiveness that has had no equal in my experience. I would recommend seeking this restaurant out to any who visit Rome! Our courses included an amuse bouche of an interesting and well executed play on caviar and blinis, foie gras macaron, mackerel tartare, prawn and coconut curry with mango, a beef tartare taco with whiskey parmesan(this was the dish that we had a truffle oil sprayed on our hands), guinea fowl with mustard and tumeric, lamb ravioli, a “caprese salad” predesert, and a white chocolate mouse with strawberries, mint and Italian meringue. Fresh cherries were consistent through many of our dishes and the freshness of each ingredient was well expressed. My greatest compliments to the chef and staff!!
