  • My wife and I shared a plate of pasta, steak, and also the slow cooked veal. We also ordered two desserts. The service was really good. Food was amazing (especially the veal) and the price was very affordable. We enjoyed it

  • This was literally the BEST meal I had in Italy. Found this cute little local restaurant as it was close to our accommodation. On the first night my wife and I tried to walk in about 8pm without a booking and it was full, so we persisted and made a booking for following night without an issue. . Cannot recommend the Suckling Pig with roast potatoes enough. The pizza was up there with the best I've had as well. Desserts were excellent as well. To top it off, all very reasonably priced. QDo yourself a favour and try it out!

  • Essential that you make a reservation at this fantastic eatery in Trastevere. The bar staff in the adjacent cocktail bar said 'have the pig'. So I did and it was one of the best dishes I have eaten in Rome. Warm welcome from the owner and attention from the waiters made this a lovely dining experience. The food for both myself and my wife were of a very high standard, both in its preparation and its presentation. Well worthy of 5 stars, which is probably why we could see many local people there enjoying the hospitality, food and drink.

  • Amazing food. Service was a bit slow due to it being a busy Saturday night. Worth the wait though. Book in advance if dining on the weekend. Suckling Pig was amazing!

  • Wonderful staff that was willing to take a late reservation for the same evening we wanted to go. The restaurant is always packed so reserve your table a day before. Had the pork and potatoes roasted in a wood oven, tender and juicy not a dry piece of meat and the potatoes were crispy. Service was excellent, it's not common to leave a tip but the way we were treated and the flexibility of the reservation...I couldn't go without leaving one. Highly recommend this restaurant.
