  • Proloco looks the part. Atmospheric, controlled noise & seating in the middle of a counter with all the meats & cheeses they use in their cooking. Unfortunately it seems to stall there. The service is a bit chaotic & has an unfriendly edge to it. The staff look enquiringly at my table despite the fact that I am still drinking my wine & they haven't offered me a menu for dessert. I ordered from the pizza bianche. They all sounded delicious. The flavours were good & the crust was chewy but the middle was totally soggy. I told one of the waiters & he could not have cared less.

I've been there two times: very good! It's based on the quality of the food, which is only local. The chef provide local delicatessen less known in a stimulant way, but not too strange. There is also pizza, but I wont go only there for that. Good choice of vines and beers. It's possible to buy and take away the raw products: hams, cheeses, etc. Not expensive despite the quality. The owner is the same of another really great restaurant: Moma Restaurant, in Via di San Basilio, close the USA Embassy.

  • Our worse meal in Italy. I ordered Ravioli with sage butter sauce received tomatoe sauce. The Ravioli tasted fine. My partner ordered meat balls and found a large hard peice of something. Tasted bland. The side of salad had no love. I think it was over priced and certainly under delivered.

  • Very good pizza made with local product from the region of Lazio. Probably not the most traditional place where to eat a pizza but for sure one of the best in Rome. Absolutely delicious!

  • Very good quality. Typical local Italian dishes with a modern twist.
