  • I'll be honest, my husband and I only came here because I wanted to see the house from Sweet Home Alabama. We got there just after the last tour of the day had been taken down to get the tour of the house, but a kind young guy offered to take us down anyway. We caught up with the tour that had only just begun seeing the house. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable about the house and the life of Martha Berry and made the tour very interesting. She even answered almost all of the questions one of the other guests had about the structure of the building and materials used (which was a LOT). Everything was gorgeous and well kept and everyone working there was so kind.

  • We visited the museum as a starting point for a tour of the House of Dreams. We had zero expectations and no knowledge of the museum or the Martha Berry story. After walking through the museum, we left impressed both by the Martha Berry story and the excellent historical story-telling found in the museum. We were especially intrigued by the link to Henry Ford and the Ford Foundation, and the other relationships developed by Martha Berry that made her educational projects possible. Beyond the museum, the nearby walking trails and the campus are phenomenal. Don't miss the Log Cabin or the gift shop, located outside the main building.

  • I love to visit the museum and grounds with my daughter. Its a perfect place to walk with a toddler. There is plenty to explore with beautiful gardens and trails around the property, and the museum is lovely as well. I love the varied exhibits Oak Hill hosts. A lovely local historical gem, with the added bonus of some birding and wildlife sightings is a pleasing way to spend any day here in Rome.

  • Really enjoyed taking the tour, me and my family went a few weeks back and the tour guide was Great so sweet and I had not been here since I was a Kid and it was amazing to see and to take my kids to see a local place and learn about local history

  • This is an AMAZING historical gem! The history of Martha Berry and the founding of Berry College is beautifully displayed and comes to life on the tour of the grounds.
