The Rompin District (Chinese: 云å†Â°) is a district and a parliamentary constituency located in the southeastern corner of Pahang, Malaysia. The district covers an area of 5,296 km and located 130 kilometres from Kuantan, the capital city of Pahang. It is bordered to the north by Pekan, to the west by Bera, to the south by Johor, and to the east by the South China Sea. The capital city of the district is Kuala Rompin. The Department of Statistics Malaysia estimates the population of Rompin was 110,286 on 2010. Rompin is home to the island resort of Tioman Island.
