  • We had some time free so popped into the Postcard Museum. It was a very interesting experience and the curator provided some insightful commentary on the history of postcards, how they evolved and showed us some surprising examples. We had kids with us, and he catered the talk to them. He spoke in both English and French and let us see some rare special postcards. Recommended if you are interested in the history of communications, and if you have a little time free, or if it's a rainy day in Antibes. Merci beaucoup!

  • Excellent museum with superb guiding - I had a personal twenty five minute tour (no extra cost) which helped me to get the most of the collection. I learnt so much and was immediately inspired to continue the art of postcard writing later on my holiday. Some real insights into French and European history too. Merci!

  • Holy cow, what a gem of a place! So much history to learn about and it's all so fascinating to see. I love vintage postcards and these were great.

  • The museum looks little, but I have spent there the best hours of my summer holidays. There are a lot of originals postcards, their order is meticulously chosen by Christian Deflandre: collector, writer, humanist and philanthropist. Mister Deflandre has an excellent sense of humour and he knows how to tell stories and those cards are a series of stories; all those stories together will give to the visitors a pretty interesting view on two hundred years of history, of living history. I really recommend to visit that little museum, it's charming and it will let you the curious impression that life can really turn a simple piece of paper into a jewel.

  • Un accueil des plus sympathiques. Des explications expertes assorties d'un échange convivial. Rareté, multitude et grande qualité des pièces exposées. Bref je ne regrette vraiment pas ma visite. Ce musée mérite une plus large notoriété.
