Roseville (formerly, Roseville Junction, Junction, and Grider's) is the largest city in Placer County, California, United States, located in the Sacramento metropolitan area. As of January 1, 2015, the state Department of Finance estimated the city's population to be 128,382. Interstate 80 runs through Roseville and State Route 65 runs through part of the northern edge of the city.


Roseville is a former junction on the Central Pacific Railroad. The city is a hub for sports enthusiasts. Most of the visitors head to the Golfland Sunsplash waterpark with a games arcade and a miniature golf course. Ice skaters can check out the Skatetown facility. Roseville is a shopaholic’s paradise. The Westfield Roseville Galleria shopping mall is full of upcoming and trendy brands. In this mall’s neighbourhood is the Fountains area that is home to many stores. The fountain area is a popular hangout spot in the evenings. The downtown area of Roseville is the place to be for summer evening concerts and light shopping.
