Blue Spring, Rotorua Reviews

  • If you are are in this area then this is an absolute must to visit. Accessible from both ends of the trail this attraction can be quite busy on sunny days so take this into consideration when visiting. Beautiful waters, streams and waterfalls. Stairways and gravel tracks to be aware of. Stunning scenery with variety of native forest, farm land, hills and foot bridges. Five out of five stars from me!!

  • The place is absolute heaven and wonderful place to visit. I bet you'll never see a most clear, clean and beautiful natural spring water in the world. The place is must visit. It has gorgeous busy walk of about 1 to 2 hours and at one place you get to drink the filter water from the spring. It is one of the natural wonder of the world.

  • Beautiful place, the clearest water you will see. Take care of your direction to the location. Do not take the Leslie road path its closed.

  • The crystal clear water with blue and green shades is a treat to eyes. It's a beautiful place for a weekend visit. There is a nice walk along the stream. There are some staircases on the way. There are benches and rest areas at places. There is a toilet and water drinking place.

  • Short walk across farmland alongside clear river to a viewing platform opposite the actual blue spring. Still blue even on s cloudy day. For the best view climb the steep timber steps behind. Tap available to drink from, and another tap to fill water bottles. Chinese people in particular seem to like to visit this spring.
