Diergaarde Blijdorp - Review
The Rotterdam Zoo is one of the oldest Zoos in Netherland and is an animal lover’s favorite hangout space in the city! The Zoo is home to Lions, Red Pandas, Polar Bears, Elephants, Giraffes and rare animals like the Collared Mangebey among others. The place also has a botanical garden.
The zoo has an aquarium called ‘Oceanarium’. If you are visiting with family, the place is perfect to spend a few hours at- especially with children!

Diergaarde Blijdorp, Rotterdam Reviews
Great place for a day outing where you can find all kind of animals and birds. I would suggest to visit this place in summer where many of the animals freely roam around outside and the kids have fun watching them. Summer also means that this place will be crowded and make sure to reach early in the morning by 9 or 10 and spend the entire day there. There are also good food options available inside the zoo. If you are staying close by, consider getting a yearly pass so that you can visit when needed.
Great zoo. Good playground for kids too. Take a map at the entrance and avoid following the wooden signs. It's a trick to make you wander around and doesn't really take you straight to the animals... I guess the purpose of it is to scatter the visitors and make it less crowded but if you just follow them you're in for a looooong walk
Great zoo, theme set up like Amazon or African Savanna. Big place so usually it doesn't feel crowded. Huge aquarium you can walk through and lots to do/see for kids. Baby friendly and several changing rooms. Enough indoors if weather isn't that great. -- Find my review helpful? Please click like /👍 much appreciated --
Great place to spend a day at Rotterdam. Good weather is mandatory. Many animals from all around the world sorted by continent. Playground for young kids may be useful for parents to have a break. Love it! 5th star is missing because it's joy an attraction related to Netherlands (as a tourist)
Really nice place. Relaxed. My kids loved penguins. I missed more European animals. Also, we couldn't find tigers. They have great playing ground for kids.
