Market Hall Reviews & Ratings
Chances are, if you’re visiting Rotterdam you were already planning on checking this place out. Be sure to do so. It’s very close to the cube houses, which you were also going to see. The pictures cannot do this place justice. The mural on the ceiling and walls is incredible - you could look at it for hours. It’s just an amazing space. There are also very many different types of vendors here with a huge variety of goods. You can sit with a nice beer or glass of wine, enjoy some tapas and take in the scenery and people watching.
If you're into food, this is one place you should not miss in Rotterdam. This is probably the largest food court in the city. There is an amazing variety of very delicious meals you can try here. The best time to visit is any day other than a Saturday. On Saturdays it's packed and you can barely walk, but any other day of the week, you actually get a chance to enjoy some of the delicious meals without being trampled.
It has so much variety. You can choose to eat any cuisine. Shop something! There are cheese stalls, chocolate stalls. There is also a supermarket. It's good. Contains everything.
Good food, nice atmosphere and cool entourage. Had some mixed grills and all was great food. Its a bit busy but ads to the vibe. Crazy people actually live above this indoor international food market. I would highly recommend people to go here when visiting Rotterdam or the Netherlands. Its one of the biggest and greatest landmarks of Rotterdam and perhaps the country. I believe it was featured multiple times as well in the lonely planet. Anyway, highly recommend the place for lunch or dinner. Cheers
Very big variety of all kind of different types of food. You can get anything from Greek food, over scharwama to Andalusian fish dishes. The prices are a bit high, but for a major tourist attractions still manageable. I love that some shops have a rooftop bar/restaurant on top. The architecture is fascinating. But the building seems bigger on pictures. I will definitely come back again.
