Park Schoonoord is a historical park located close to the Euromast. The park was a pasture land up until the 17th century and was surrounded by beautiful orangeries, homes and tea domes.
Today, the present layout of the park is a result of architect JD Zocher who designed the place in the early 19th century and constructed it in English style.
The garden is home to over 1000 plant species and has a 200-year-old Beech tree. The garden also has an aviary, a pond, 10 bee hives and is home to bird species including the Tawny Owl.
