We visited this place with two children a 4 yo boy and a 6 yo girl. We had a really good time. It is a mix of a large playground, with a few animals as well as an indoor play area that is really good in bad weather. For summer there are water games. We will definitely be back hoping that our daughter will be above 125cm tall, which was the limit for few games.
Had a great time with two kids who are 6 and 3.5 yo. They spent 4 hours there and we could have spent 2 or 3 hours more there. A variety of activities outdoors and also indoors if the weather is bad. We visited in October half term break and I imagine it would be great in summer. Some games were not suitable for my kids due to their young age but still so many other choices suited them. The train is a good way to explore the place before deciding where to go.
The outdoor part is great, indoor is rather dirty. It has just been refurbished and all the play areas for the smallest kids (below 2) disappeared. I'm extremally disappointed. Now when winter is coming my daughter will not be playing outdoor so much, and there is no alternative.
Scottish family hit Rotterdam. Its hard to get used to how family friendly and tourist friendly the Dutch are. Our second visit in 18 months as it was so great the first time. Plaswijckpark is intended for the natives (no English map). Its a little trek by tram as it's beyond the tourist zone. Best part of 50 euros to get 4 of us in. I was a little underwhelmed. Its a big play park. Petting zoo style place. Big go kart area (pedal). Sedate boat ride. Wasn't expecting my kids to go rafting. Neither were they. My 10 and 7 year old just loved this place. Couple of simple thrill rides. Dutch kids at school so save the toddlers my kids had the run of this place. They loved it so much. I'd give it 2 out of 5 they would have said 6 out of 5. If it was full of local kids-queues would have dulled the experience but it looks like it could handle it. One for the kids Definately. Any parent needs a place to have a coffee and watch them run off....and they did. Safe and boy did they love it.
Sweet and fun! Loved it. 1st time I saw white Cangaroo ;-)
