Parakeet Bay - Review
Rottnest Island is famous for its many bays; this may be the most popular of them. It’s on the island’s north side, about three kilometres from Thompson’s Bay. The crystalline waters are shallow and calm, making this a great place to swim. It’s surrounded by rather jagged looking rocks though, that just adds to the beauty of the bay. It’s sheltered from the breeze by a high sand dune. If you can find some one to take a boat out into the water (ask at the Visitor Centre), then you can even snorkel at the reefs further out into the ocean.

Crystal Clear Water and White sand. What else could you want.
Most amazing and beautiful beach I've ever been to. Sand is really nice and there is a small sand dune. Water is beautiful and good deepth for snorkeling but very nice for swimming
Island heaven. Caught plenty of squid.
Beautiful and only 20 mins to get to by bike from Thompson Bay
The most incredible beach I've ever been
