Kirkkolammen Puisto is a beautiful park built around the Kirkkolampi pond in Rovaniemi. Built in 1995, the park occupies a total of 2.9 hectares. It was established to showcase the plants that flourish in Lapland. There are around 10,000 plants in the park belonging to different species that are named in Latin and Finnish. The pond in the park has fountains through which the water in the pond in recycled. Other features of the park include sand and lawn fields, a children's playground, and a track around the pond.
