We spent three wonderful nights camping at platform T4. I'd highly recommend getting this spot if at all possible. Site has water, power, and a light under the covered Adirondack style shelter. This spot is very private, and by far the best and most popular for tent camping. There's a short walk from behind this shelter that leads you to the inner loop trail which leads to every trail in the park. The bathroom facilities are a little dated, but clean and sufficient. Staff was friendly and the park is well maintained. We will definitely be returning!
Park was nice, very quiet and full of beautiful nature views. Tons of spots open for campers and private, since none of the spots are super close together. The major issue with this park is how there are no signs that tell you how to get around. Was driving here to meet with family for lunch and had to drive around the whole park three times before we finally found our destination. But totally worth it!
Beautiful! They even have a pool at this state park. Very large sites for your RV! The park attendant she was so nice and friendly! You could tell she loved her Job! She also recommended some other amazing Georgia state parks that we have visited because of her recommendation and we loved them! Thank you! :)
We only had time for 9, but it is a nice challenging course that calls for well placed shots on almost every hole, for a good clear shot to the green. Course is very well maintained and nicely manicured. Nice definition between the fairways, rough and greens. Grass was smooth and level, with even cuts all around. Even though we had a little rain, the greens drained and rolled well after it went through. It was my first time playing here, but I will definitely return for a full round, soon!
I've spent a lot of time here and its beautiful. Kinda stupid they make you pay to come wish our taxes would provide for state parks.
