  • Do you have a calendar of events for August? We will be in Ruidoso the week of August 5 - 9. Are there good birding spots? Easy walking trails?

    Answer Report Abuse
    • A number of local events are scheduled in the month of August in Ruidoso. A few of these include The Oak Ridge Boys at Spencer Theater, Trace Adkins at Inn of the Mountain Gods, The Fab Four at Spencer Theater, 5th Annual Carrizozo Arts Weekend, and All American Futurity: The World's Richest Quarter Horse Race. For more information, you will have to search online. I am not sure about birding spots, but a few easy to moderately-difficult walking trails include Grindstone Lake Loop and North Cedar Creek Trail.
