This is one of the most beautiful wineries in Napa. I would consider it a must-stop if you want to relax, walk around, soak up, and understand how amazing vineyards can be. The staff here are very friendly and laid-back. If you're new to wines, you won't feel stupid or out of place. The Garden Tasting is their most popular tasting. It's heavy on the red wines, but if you like whites, just tell them. They'll come up with a separate tasting flight of all whites. You can walk into the vineyards, and taste the grapes, and there's plenty of seating, if you want to hang out. You do need a reservation, but if you're looking for a laid-back tasting, this is your place.
Lovely tour and tasting. Pricey, but high end atmosphere. We enjoyed it.
Stellar yet casual experience. We did the seated tasting on the patio and were given a small plate of nuts and crackers. This vineyard is so down to earth and for $35 for a seated tasting, it shines in comparison to other, more produced experiences. We learned about dry farming and the concentration of their grapes due to the lack of irrigation which also reduces their dependence on pesticides. They are certified organic and makes the best from what Mother Nature gives them each year. This is a staple and we go back every year.
Smaller winery. You can walk the grounds but there isn’t a tour or signage. There are tastings one is with food and is $35 or you can walk out to the grass without food and it is $25. People pouring the wine were very knowledgeable and nice. The property is pretty and it is more relaxing than some of the larger, busy wineries. Also the wine is great!
Lauren was the best !!! Grounds were beautiful to walk around and enjoy the crush. We even had chance to visit cellar and talk to workers about the process and taste the grapes from that mornings harvest!
