Nestled on a small hill area in the heart of Rutherglen, the Scion Vineyard & Winery specializes in artisan wines made from the high quality grapes that are harvested at their own vinery before being handcrafted and dispatched into small batches. The gentle rolling hill, perfect soil and the northern climate has favoured the growth of the vinery sprawling over eight acres. From their cellar door, you can have the sweeping views of the vinery and the surrounding countryside. The owner and winemaker Rowly Milhinch has maintained the tradition of crafting the grape varieties while offering a contemporary setup for the visitors to enjoy their authentic wines. Elegance, seasonality and structure are the three highlights of the wines, ranging from aromatic afternoon white wines to delicate dessert wines and elegant red wines.
