  • Absolutely amazing place. Has a cafe and gift shop. You can walk to a waterfall and up on the top of the longmynd. We saw some horses up there too!! Best place for a day out, loved it. (I do also suggest wearing appropriate footwear, unlike my mother)

  • Nice scenic area to explore by foot or mountain bike, lots of routes around this area. Very popular during sunny weekends, bordering being overcrowded, so best to arrive early or late afternoon. Lots of parking and places for food and drink. Several marked trails to suit ability. Different events going on during the year.

  • Excellent place to visit and go on a hike, three levels to choose from depending on your fitness. Very pleasant staff in both the cafe and the shop. Also have friendly rangers on hand for help and advice.

  • National Trust managed beautiful outdoor space. Pack for all weathers as I'm sure it is different to anywhere else, paddling in the streams, climbing the hills, hiking, picnics, bird watching, cloud watching or just watching the world go by. Going back to nature can make anyone feel better!

  • Absolutely amazing place. Our 3 year old was so pleased. Watch out for the sheep they will definitely eat your picnic if you are not careful 🤣🤣
