A proud one of its kind beach in the area, Camber Sands Beach is the most fun beach in Rye! It is the only sand dune system in East Sussex, which brings with it a lot of responsibility. It is not only a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), but has also been titled as a Site of Nature Conservation Importance. Like any other beach, there are a number of ways that you can enjoy the sun sand and waters. You can opt for kitesurfing, kite landboarding or even kite buggying when the wind and weather is perfect. Have a fun filled day here, at the Camber Sands Beach.

Camber Sands Beach Reviews & Ratings
If you haven't been before (and even if you have) then you need to treat yourself to Camber! It is glorious and there is loads of space. BUT PLEASE know the sea - the tide comes in and out quickly here so be very careful. When it is put there are shallower pools that are quite warm also for the little ones and some nice pubs for lunch
It's a flat stretch of fine sand with facilities. Optimal place for families. Watch out for the tides. We love this place, especially when sunny. Don't forget your wind breaker or it's £4 to rent per day. Car park is £12 for over 6 hours, apart from this, this place is perfect.
Been coming to this beach ever since I was a little boy. It's always been a lovely place to visit and the sand dunes are always fun. I've now taken my daughter there after a few years without going there and she loved it equally as much as I did as a kid. There are a couple of cafe's and shops that are practically on the beach too which is very helpful and there are a couple of shops walking distance from the beach too so you can enjoy a full day there without having to move far from the beach.
Beautiful sandy beach. Windy ,so take a good windbreak or 2 and pitch at foot of dunes as sand is softer. A beach shelter could also be good. Water is warm in summer when tide is in.Lifeguards great. Please swim between the flags.
Absolutely gorgeous huge beach. I went in the evening so can't say how busy it gets of a daytime. There appeared to be plenty of parking and toilet facilities. The bit I visited had some places to eat or grab ice cream.. not luxury, just normal seaside stuff. Although the beach was lovely, the streets behind it looked a bit tired and in need of some regeneration.
