This village began to form in 17th century and is a paragon of building styles in the Turkish soil. True to the Turkish tradition, the ground floor of these houses have been made in stone and the additional stories display the prized timber available in the region. All in all, there are 144 houses in the village, all of which are excellent examples of house building in the country. Almost all of these houses have their own gardens that add to the beauty of the setting. They are excellently preserved as a heritage landmark of the country. A must-see place in the village is the mansion Kasim Sipahi Konagu, one of the prettiest buildings in town. Tourists often end up spending an entire day exploring the beauties of Yoruk.
