Abchand reserve forest is situated at a distance of about 20 miles from Sagar. It is your best chance to escape to untouched views of wilderness and experience nature in all its glory. The best part is that there are so many cave paintings depicting the activities of ancient times here. There is a cave which is said to be about 40 feet in length and has lovely carvings set on its stones. The wilderness here is an example of human relationship with animals as you can see on the paintings. There is one painting which shows two tigers fighting fiercely and there are many depicting the movements of bisons, buffaloes and many more.
